The Train to nowhere!

Simmering shadows, the day is long over,
Packet full of surprises, smile on their little faces,
Tired eyes, weak limbs, its been a pushover,
Never letting down, happy being their savior.
“Boarding on a northbound train,
roads covered with sheets of rain,
Chugging on an age-old track,
never know when you’d get back,
Mayhem on the railroad, you know not for sure,
Cause this is the train, the train to nowhere”
Destiny beckons, it was waiting to happen,
Greasy palms, lofted egos, poisonous minds,
Bloodstained hands, diamond on their fingers,
Comforts for you and me could sound so shocking,
Getting home couldn’t be easier than tonight,
Forever and ever, the journey does not seem right,
Time passes, the wind blows, dreams fade,
Poetry in motion, this nights going to be really late,
“Boarding on a northbound train,

Terror from the rooftop, you’ll never see him again,
Cause this is the train, the train to nowhere”
Where do we look now and whom can we rely,
Innocent souls, they have the will to survive,
Powerful people, they are used to this crime,
Looking the other way, their skin thick as a hide.
The lonesome train painfully moves on,
It knows the fear, feels for the lonely new born,
Its heart bleeds it knows not what to do,
Praying for the survivors, to start a life anew.
