Hi Promoters,
Good Luck to the venture.Calicut is always revolutionary about music...got great promoters too in the field...hope u'll also be in that list in future. But never stick on to western alone...try to leave the signature of malabar music into the cyber space.Music can make a diffrent world......hope u can change the world.
Good Luck once again. |

Got to know about your site through a friend whose lyrics you have featured and it was quite nice reading about what you are trying to do as a group. Also amusing, to read the names of so many of my contemporaries on the site !! May your hopes, dreams and plans all come true. |

Good to hear your voice over the phone in Dubai. Great site, you have really done a good job here!! As an old member of the band in Calicut - Axe wagon, still in the music-line here in Dubai, is proud to say that people like you can still do more in the music scene.

Hi Harris, its been so long. The last time we had a chat when you were in Dubai thru Naim's phone. Hope you are in yhe pink of health. Your mail today just been so iquisitive that i took all my pains in the night during my night duty to go thru it. Man Girish article was too good it took me to our memories down the line. My friend can I take an anticipatory bail that after this mail I will not be in your bad books so here it is,,,<br>In 1983 in Tagore centenary hall in calicut there was this programme conducted by th e REC calicut and it was an real awakening in the english music in calicut. We the whole gang of MCC and medical college were there for the concert. The song which took us by the storm was " More than I can say " of Leo Sayer sung on that day by none other the KITTAPPA brother of Dassappa whom you all know. Man it was mind blowing that the next day it was on everyones lips even on KOLLI PRASANTH's lips who was a famous regional singer in the campus. And I can vouch that this song had been sung by all to the girls in MCC in those following days. Even the guys who never uttered a single word in english. So all I am trying to make it a point that Leo Sayer came to MCC even before Girsh had his try . Soory Macha |

The articles are good, but reading from a black page with white and that too with the fonts too tiny is making reading a little difficult. |

Hi Harris, Thanks for your visit and review for both places ie: Le Rock and Legends of Rock. It was a pity that you visited Le Rock in the day it is a night place. Amazing vidoes is what you missed not only Classic Rock but rock music across the board. However we dont play thrash metal. About pricing yes more than Pecos but we do have many more comforts such as air conditioning, clean enviorment, clean toilets, better sound system etc. etc. etc.Pricing at Legends of Rock - for 500 bucks you can get 2 pitchers of Beer ie: 10 glasses plus one plate of Masala Peanuts and money left over for the tip OR 4 pints(500ml)of Beer, one plate of Chicken Tikka and a plate of Finger Chips. Do visit us again and once again thanks for the reviews. |
